ArcGIS Enterprise and Cloud Administrator
Role Summary
Administer, optimize, and secure ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online environments. Configure and maintain cloud based ArcGIS architectures in AWS and Azure. Oversee system performance, reliability, and compliance while guiding migrations, upgrades, and operations. Mentor the team, support customers, and ensure ArcGIS platforms run as secure, resilient, and cost effective enterprise systems. This role is based in our Missoula MT office.

What You Will Do
- Administer ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store) and ArcGIS Online
- Configure and maintain hybrid cloud deployments in AWS and Azure
- Implement and manage identity, networking, and security configurations
- Define and execute HA and DR strategies, performance tuning, and system monitoring
- Plan and perform upgrades, patches, and migrations of ArcGIS Enterprise environments
- Manage enterprise geodatabases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and integrations
- Create and maintain operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, and system documentation
- Support audits, compliance checks, and cost optimization initiatives
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate directly with customer IT teams
What You Bring
- Strong experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store) and ArcGIS Online
- Cloud administration skills in AWS and or Azure
- Knowledge of networking, identity management, and security best practices
- Experience with Windows and Linux administration for ArcGIS Enterprise
Nice to Have
- Infrastructure as code and CI CD with CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
- Python for administration, automation, and ETL
- Monitoring and observability with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or Prometheus
- Esri certifications and AWS or Azure certifications
- Customer facing discovery and technical documentation experience
