Role summary

Lead solution architecture for ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online. Define secure cloud architectures in AWS and Azure. Guide discovery, design, estimates, migration plans, and delivery. Mentor the team and collaborate with customers to translate business goals into reliable spatial systems. This role is based in our Missoula MT office.

What you will do

• Lead solution architecture for ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and hybrid deployments
• Design identity, networking, security, and data flows in AWS and Azure
• Define HA and DR strategies, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Plan upgrades and migrations for Portal, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Data Store
• Model services and data for web apps, analytics, and enterprise integrations
• Develop SOWs and detailed estimates with risks and assumptions
• Produce architecture decision records, diagrams, and operational runbooks

What you bring

• Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro
• Cloud experience in AWS or Azure

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as code and CI CD with CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
• Python for administration, automation, and ETL
• Customer facing discovery and technical documentation experience
• Esri certifications and AWS or Azure certifications
• Enterprise geodatabase administration (PostgreSQL or SQL Server)
• Monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Windows and Linux administration for ArcGIS Enterprise
