Indigenous Vision (IV) contracted GCS to create an web-based map app and geodata services. This innovative web mapping app highlights the cultural conservation areas surrounding Chief Mountain, located along the eastern border of Glacier National Park and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
GCS collaborated closely with IV staff to assess, compile, and format essential geospatial data for integration into the web-based mapping application. The project included customizing the cartographic display of various data layers and publishing them to ArcGIS Online, ensuring a user-friendly interface for stakeholders.

About Indigenous Vision
Founded in 2013 by Souta Calling Last (Founder & Executive Director), Indigenous Vision (IV) began with grassroots community events aimed at connecting urban Indigenous people for environmental education in the Phoenix metropolitan area. IV was formally established and incorporated on June 3, 2015, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Indigenous Vision implements diverse projects across Turtle Island (North America), guided by an all-Indigenous Board of Directors and dedicated staff. Their mission is to provide educational resources that honor the land, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous peoples through storytelling, land and water knowledge, song, dance, art, and food.
