Esri ArcGIS GeoEvent Server enables real-time event-based data streams to be integrated as data sources in your enterprise GIS. Event data can be filtered, processed, and sent to multiple destinations, allowing you to connect with virtually any type of streaming data and automatically alert personnel when specified conditions occur, all in real-time.
GCS successfully integrated ArcGIS GeoEvent Server into OmniTRAX’s IT infrastructure consuming various sensor platforms and APIs.
In 2018, GCS built OmniTRAX an operational dashboard connected to a large array of sensors and numerous third party vendor APIs to enable employees to make informed decisions more quickly. The dashboard brings together NetSuite and various IoT data via ArcGIS GeoEvent Server.
GCS has over 12 year experience working with Esri geo-event technology. Back in 2006, GCS’s ISAA solution provided a standards-based SOA architecture for consumption, dissemination and exploitation of geospatial sensor messaging. The ISAA architecture utilized COTS-based geospatial applications for optimal performance in OCG-compliant geospatial Web services. A range of client applications interfaced and consumed specific sensor-based web services. Custom connectors accessed an ArcIMS airport service and multiple ArcGIS Tracking Server sensor-based messaging strings. GAIN’s XML data connector and translator components functioned as the engine for thin and thick client applications.
Currently, GCS partners with TerraEchos, Inc. to combine a state-of-the-art US Navy fiber optic sensor system with advanced geospatial situational awareness capabilities to provider Adelos. Based upon the Greek word for “hidden,” Adelos combines US Government patented technology and a nationally recognized geospatial intelligence service oriented architecture (SOA) to deliver covert surveillance and intelligence capabilities. Interoperable, scalable, and standards-based, Adelos provides the most sophisticated commercial solution for advanced fiber optic sensor fusion and integrated situational awareness.
